Notification 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Planning Act, the Minister for National Development makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Planning (Payment of Development Charge by Charity — Exemption) (No. 6) Notification 2020 and comes into operation on 15 May 2020.

Exemption

2. The Minister exempts Lot 00796V of TS 11 at 51 Bencoolen Street from section 37(3) of the Act and rule 14 of the Planning (Development Charges) Rules (R 5) with regard to such part of the development of the said land that is approved for use under the Act as a place of worship and which is the subject of the application for written permission submitted by Majlis Ugama Islam, Singapura to the competent authority on 22 May 2019.
