Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Singapore Tourism (Cess Collection) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2010 and shall come into operation on 15th July 2010.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification (N 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Albert Court Hotel” in item (1) and substituting the words “Albert Court Village Hotel”;

(b)

by deleting item (24) relating to Garden Hotel;

(c)

by deleting the words “Golden Landmark Hotel” in item (26) and substituting the words “Landmark Village Hotel”;

(d)

by deleting the words “Meritus Mandarin Singapore” in item (54) and substituting the words “Mandarin Orchard Singapore”;

(e)

by deleting the words “The Aspinal Hotel” in item (154) and substituting the words “Aspinals Hotel”; and

(f)

by inserting, immediately after item (165), the following items:

“(166) Aqueen Hotel Lavender.

(167) Wangz Hotel.

(168) Hotel 81 Osaka.

(169) Crockfords Tower.

(170) Hotel Michael.

(171) Hard Rock Hotel.

(172) Festive Hotel.

(173) Studio M Hotel.

(174) Hotel Grand Chancellor.

(175) Marina Bay Sands Singapore.

(176) The Club.

(177) The Fullerton Bay Hotel.”.
