Telecommunications (Designated Telecommunication Licensees — Services-based Operator) Notification 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definition of “designated telecommunication licensee” in section 32A(1) of the Telecommunications Act, the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Telecommunications (Designated Telecommunication Licensees –– Services-based Operator) Notification 2007 and shall come into operation on 20th July 2007.

Designated telecommunication licensees

2. The Authority hereby declares Syniverse Technologies Private Limited to be a designated telecommunication licensee for the purposes of Part VA of the Act and subsection 10.2 of the Code of Practice for Competition in the Provision of Telecommunication Services 2005 (G.N. No. S 87/2005).
