Protection of Family and Maintenance of
Wife and Children)
Order 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Fees Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order may be cited as the Fees (Subordinate Courts — Criminal Jurisdiction, Protection of Family and Maintenance of Wife and Children) Order 2013.
Definitions
2.  In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —
“Magistrate’s complaint” means a complaint made to a Magistrate under section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68);
“Registrar” means the Registrar or a Deputy Registrar of the Subordinate Courts.
Fees
3.—(1)  In any criminal proceedings other than proceedings under Part VII or VIII of the Women’s Charter (Cap. 353), the fees specified in the second column of the First Schedule shall be payable to the Registrar in respect of the matters specified opposite in the first column.
(2)  In any application to a District Court or a Magistrate’s Court made under Part VII or VIII of the Women’s Charter, the fees specified in the second column of the Second Schedule shall be payable to the Registrar in respect of the matters specified opposite in the first column.
Waiver, remission or refund of fees
4.  The Registrar may, as he thinks fit, waive, remit or refund, wholly or in part, any fee paid or payable under this Order.
Revocation
5.  The Fees (Subordinate Courts of Criminal Jurisdiction) Order (O 47) is revoked.
