Infectious Diseases
(Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread
of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment)
Regulations 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(2)(h) of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 5th June 2014.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  The First Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread of Infectious Diseases) Regulations 2004 (G.N. No. S 13/2004) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 2, the following item:
“3.Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus Infection (MERS‑CoV) (formerly known as Novel Coronavirus Infection).”.
