(Exemption) (No. 42)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 42) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “RWS Promotion Games — The Winning Spin” promotion to be held from 12th June 2014 to 14th July 2014 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the kiosk games to be held in front of the Casino Royale Bar (Casino B1) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. as part of the “RWS Promotion Games — The Winning Spin” promotion during the following periods:

(i)	from 10 p.m. each day between 12th June 2014 and 1st July 2014 (both dates inclusive) to before 6 a.m. the following day;
(ii)	from 10 p.m. each day on 4th July 2014 and 5th July 2014 to before 6 a.m. the following day;
(iii)	from 10 p.m. each day on 8th July 2014 and 9th July 2014 to before 6 a.m. the following day;
(iv)	from 10 p.m. each day on 12th July 2014 and 13th July 2014 to before 6 a.m. the following day.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
