(Exemption) (No. 35)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 35) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Super Hot Seat Draw” promotion to be held from 27 July 2017 to 20 August 2017 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the draws to be held as part of that promotion at Pit 153, Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands —

(i)

between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. daily during the following periods:

(A)	27 July 2017 to 30 July 2017 (both dates inclusive);
(B)	3 August 2017 to 6 August 2017 (both dates inclusive);
(C)	10 August 2017 to 13 August 2017 (both dates inclusive);
(D)	17 August 2017 to 19 August 2017 (both dates inclusive); and

(ii)

between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on 20 August 2017.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
