Regulations 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(1) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Performances and Other Activities — Control Order) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 26 January 2021.

Amendment of regulation 5

2. Regulation 5(2) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Performances and Other Activities — Control Order) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 927/2020) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “parts within any premises specified in the Schedule, or any other outdoor place” and substituting the words “places, indoor or outdoor”; and

(b)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of sub‑paragraph (e) and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:

“(f)	a room that is a shared facility and adapted or designed for the conduct of events, functions, ceremonies and the like (such as a communal living room, function room or hall).”.

Amendment of regulation 14

3. Regulation 14(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “5” in sub‑paragraph (a) and substituting “8”.

Amendment of regulation 19

4. Regulation 19 of the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “a part of premises mentioned in regulation 5(2) or any other outdoor place” in paragraph (1) and substituting the words “any indoor or outdoor place mentioned in regulation 5(2)”; and
(b)	by deleting the word “not” in paragraph (2)(d).
