Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 45) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Guess the Emirates Singapore Derby Years of Running” promotion to be held on 13th July 2014 between 12 noon and 5 p.m. and the draw to be held on 15th July 2014 at 10.30 a.m. at the Auditorium (Grandstand Level 2) of the Singapore Racecourse.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
