Strategic Goods (Control)
(Amendment) Regulations 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 36 and 38 of the Strategic Goods (Control) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade) makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Strategic Goods (Control) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into operation on 1 November 2016.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2(1) of the Strategic Goods (Control) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting the definition of “SG Order” and substituting the following definition:

“ “SG Order” means the Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2016 (G.N. No. S 427/2016).”.

Miscellaneous amendments

3. The Strategic Goods (Control) Regulations are amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Parts I and II” in regulation 13(2)(a) and (b) and substituting in each case the words “Parts 1 and 2”;
(b)	by deleting the words “Part II” in regulation 13(3)(a) to (f) and item 2 of the Fourth and Fifth Schedules and substituting in each case the words “Part 2”; and
(c)	by deleting the words “Part I” in item 1 of the Fourth and Fifth Schedules and substituting in each case the words “Part 1”.
