Strategic Goods (Control) (Brokering) (Amendment) Order 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(2)(a) of the Strategic Goods (Control) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade) makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Strategic Goods (Control) (Brokering) (Amendment) Order 2016 and comes into operation on 1 November 2016.

Deletion and substitution of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Strategic Goods (Control) (Brokering) Order 2007 (G.N. No. S 640/2007) is deleted and the following paragraph substituted therefor:

“Application of section 6(1) of Act

2. Section 6(1) of the Act applies to all goods specified in the following Category Codes in Division 2 of Part 1 of the Schedule to the Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2016 (G.N. No. S 427/2016):

(a)	ML1 to ML4;
(b)	ML8.”.
