Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2001 and shall come into operation on 10 September 2001.

Amendment of rule 3

2. Rule 3(5) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) Rules (R 9) is amended by deleting the words “6 persons” and substituting the words “7 persons”.

Amendment of rule 77

3. Rule 77(4) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Construction and Use) Rules is amended by deleting the words “6 persons” and substituting the words “7 persons”.
