(Exemption from Exclusion from Casino)
(Amendment) Order 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 165A(2) of the Casino Control Act 2006, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Order is the Casino Control (Exemption from Exclusion from Casino) (Amendment) Order 2022 and, except for paragraphs 2(b) and 3(b), comes into operation on 1 June 2022.
(2)  Paragraphs 2(b) and 3(b) are deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.
Amendment of paragraph 2
2.  In paragraph 2 of the Casino Control (Exemption from Exclusion from Casino) Order 2013 (G.N. No. S 82/2013) —
(a)delete the definition of “Housing and Development Board”; and
(b)in the definition of “permanent resident”, replace “section 5(4) of the Legal Aid and Advice Act (Cap. 160)” with “section 5(6) of the Legal Aid and Advice Act 1995”.
Amendment of paragraph 3
3.  In paragraph 3 of the Casino Control (Exemption from Exclusion from Casino) Order 2013 —
(a)delete sub-paragraph (2); and
(b)in sub-paragraph (3), replace “International Child Abduction Act (Cap. 143C)” with “International Child Abduction Act 2010”.
