Management Act 1999 (Amendment of
Second Schedule) Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 76(1) of the Environmental Protection and Management Act 1999, the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Environmental Protection and Management Act 1999 (Amendment of Second Schedule) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 1 March 2023.

Amendment of Part I of Second Schedule

2. Part I of the Second Schedule to the Environmental Protection and Management Act 1999 is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to the substance “Amitraz”, the following item:

“

Amitrole

”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to the substance “Cyanides”, the following item:

“

Dechlorane plus

”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to the substance “Hydrogen selenide”, the following item:

“

Iprodione

”;

(d)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to the substance “Nitrogen trifluoride”, the following item:

“

Nonylphenol and nonylphenol ethoxylates

”; and

(e)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to the substance “Tungsten hexafluoride”, the following item:

“

UV-328

”.
