(Exemption) (No. 36)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 36) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Sands Race Championship 2017” promotion to be held from 4 August 2017 to 17 September 2017 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the lottery called the “Daily Kiosk Game” to be held as part of that promotion where —

(i)	promotional slips are issued at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino at Marina Bay Sands daily from 6.56 p.m. on 21 August 2017 to 6.55 p.m. on 16 September 2017; and
(ii)	draws are conducted daily at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 7 p.m. from 21 August 2017 to 16 September 2017 (both dates inclusive);

(c)

the “Race Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 10 p.m. on 10 September 2017;

(d)

the “Instant Win to Spin” kiosk game to be held as part of that promotion at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino at Marina Bay Sands from 4 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on 17 September 2017; and

(e)

the “Finale Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 10 p.m. on 17 September 2017.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
