Road Traffic
(Motor Vehicles, Seat Belts)
(Amendment) Rules 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Seat Belts) (Amendment) Rules 2019 and come into operation on 21 January 2019.

Amendment of rule 4

2. Rule 4(6) of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Seat Belts) Rules (R 15) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of sub‑paragraph (a)(v); and

(b)

by inserting the word “or” at the end of sub‑paragraph (vi) of sub‑paragraph (a), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:

“(vii)

the Singapore Customs;”.
