The Singapore Arms in the centre with the year-date “2013” below it and the word “SINGAPORE” in the 4 official languages around the circumference of the coin. The position of the mintmark is at 5 o’clock of the coin.
There are 2 different coin designs, each featuring one of the orchids named below:
(a) Dendrobium crumenatum; and
(b) Bulbophyllum flabellum-veneris.
In each design, the orchid is featured in colour at the centre with the name of the respective orchid along the upper circumference. The denomination is at the left of the coin, while the weight and fineness of the coin are at the lower left circumference.
