Long Service and Good Conduct Medal
(Amendment) Rules 2017

The President makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (Amendment) Rules 2017 and come into operation on 7 August 2017.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority Long Service and Good Conduct Medal Rules 2013 (G.N. No. S 202/2013) is amended by deleting the definition of “eligible person” and substituting the following definition:

“ “eligible person” means any person who is or was an officer of the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority appointed under section 3(1) of the Immigration Act (Cap. 133);”.
