(Exemption) (No. 32)
Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 32) Notification 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Ruby Room Fiesta” promotion to be held from 17th July 2013 to 22nd September 2013 (both dates inclusive), comprising the following promotions and draws to be held at the Ruby Room at Marina Bay Sands:

(a)	the “Taste of Ruby” promotion to be held from 4 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. on every Monday between 29th July 2013 and 16th September 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(b)	the “Mega Ruby Wheel” promotion to be held from 10 a.m. to 9.45 p.m. on every Tuesday between 30th July 2013 and 17th September 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(c)	the “Ruby Rewards” promotion to be held from 10 a.m. to 9.45 p.m. on every Wednesday between 31st July 2013 and 18th September 2013 (both dates inclusive);
(d)	the “Ruby Star Players” promotion to be held from 4 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. on every Thursday between 1st August 2013 and 19th September 2013 (both dates inclusive) and the “Ruby Star Players Finale” promotion to be held from 4 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. on 19th September 2013; and
(e)	the “Treasures of Ruby” promotion to be held from 4 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 2nd August 2013 and 22nd September 2013 (both dates inclusive) and the draws to be held at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., respectively, during those days.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
