Notification 2019

Responsibility of Deputy Prime Minister

It is notified for general information that the Prime Minister has, under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, directed that with effect from 1 May 2019, Mr Heng Swee Keat is —

(a)

charged with the responsibility for —

(i)	the portfolio of the Prime Minister insofar as it relates to the departments and subjects set out in the Schedule; and
(ii)	the Future Economy Council; and

(b)

designated as the Deputy Prime Minister.

Citation

2. This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister) Notification 2019.

Cancellation

3. The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility for the Portfolio of the Prime Minister) Notification 2018 (G.N. No. S 346/2018) is cancelled.
