Air Navigation (Licensing of Air Services) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Air Navigation Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Licensing of Air Services) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall come into operation on 15th July 2005.

Amendment of regulation 2M

2. Regulation 2M(1) of the Air Navigation (Licensing of Air Services) Regulations (Rg 2) is amended by deleting sub-paragraph (ii) of sub-paragraph (f) and substituting the following sub-paragraph:

“(ii)

does not provide all the air services that the licensee is licensed to provide for a period of 3 consecutive months or more out of any 6 months period after —

(A)	the date of commencement of the licence, where the licence is granted on or after 15th July 2005; or
(B)	15th July 2005, where the licence is granted and is in force before that date.”.

Amendment of regulation 2R

3. Regulation 2R of the Air Navigation (Licensing of Air Services) Regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (2) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(2) The Committee shall not under paragraph (1) empower any delegate (other than the Chairman) to allow any variation which is effective for more than 7 months.”.
