Muslim Marriage and Divorce (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 145 of the Administration of Muslim Law Act, the President of Singapore hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Muslim Marriage and Divorce (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 15th October 1997.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Form 2 of the Schedule to the Muslim Marriage and Divorce Rules (R 1) is deleted and the following Form substituted therefor:

”.
