(Exemption) (No. 37)
Notification 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 37) Notification 2015.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts the Jalan Kayu Zone 3 Residents’ Committee (called the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Mahjong Competition @ Jalan Kayu Zone 3 RC” promotion to be held from 29 July 2015 to 8 August 2015 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the mahjong games to be held at the Multi Activity Centre at Block 547 Serangoon North Avenue 3 (called the Multi Activity Centre) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on 8 August 2015.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
