Securities and Futures (Market Conduct) (Exemption for Stabilising Action in Respect of Dealings in Bonds) (No. 8) (Amendment) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 337(1) of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Securities and Futures (Market Conduct) (Exemption for Stabilising Action in respect of Dealings in Bonds) (No. 8) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 29th July 2004.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  Regulation 2 of the Securities and Futures (Market Conduct) (Exemption for Stabilising Action in respect of Dealings in Bonds) (No. 8) Regulations 2004 (G.N. No. S 317/2004) is amended by deleting the words “5-year convertible bonds due June 2009” in the definition of “Bonds” and substituting the words “convertible bonds due August 2009, which have a tenure of 5 years and 1 day,”.
