Singapore Armed Forces (Board of Inquiry) (Amendment) Regulations 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 205 of the Singapore Armed Forces Act, the Armed Forces Council hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Singapore Armed Forces (Board of Inquiry) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st September 1998.

Amendment of regulation 6

2. Regulation 6(2) of the Singapore Armed Forces (Board of Inquiry) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting sub-paragraphs (b) and (c) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:

“(b)	the chairman of the board shall be an officer or a NUSAF officer;
(c)	every member of the board shall be a person who is subject to military law; and
(d)	an order convening the board shall specify by name the member or members of the board and the person who is to act as chairman.”.
