Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Law) (Amendment) Notification 2001
Variation of Responsibility of Minister for Law
It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has varied, with effect from 1st June 2001, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Law) Notification 1997 (G.N. No. S 45/97) —
(a)by deleting the following words under the heading “Departments/Statutory Bodies”:
 “Registry of Trade Marks and Patents.
  Copyright Tribunal.
  Land Office.
  Land Dealings (Approval) Unit.
  Registry of Titles and Deeds.
  Survey Department.”,
 and substituting the following words:
 “Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (including the Registry of Designs, the Registry of Trade Marks and the Registry of Patents).
 Copyright Tribunal.
 Singapore Land Authority (including the Registry of Titles and the Registry of Deeds).”;
(b)by deleting the words “Land Systems Support Unit.” under the heading “Departments/Statutory Bodies”; and
(c)by deleting the words “Patents and Trade Marks.” under the heading “Subjects” and substituting the words “Intellectual Property.”.
Citation
2.  This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Law) (Amendment) Notification 2001.
