Civil Defence Force Fund
(Amendment)
Regulations 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 115(2)(m) of the Civil Defence Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Defence Force Fund (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2013.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Civil Defence Force Fund Regulations (Rg 5) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definition of “Head of Finance” and substituting the following definition:

“ “Civil Defence Financial Officer” means the Head of the Finance Branch of the Force;”.

Amendment of regulation 4

3. Regulation 4(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “Head of Finance” and substituting the words “Civil Defence Financial Officer”.

Amendment of regulation 7

4. Regulation 7 of the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Head of Finance” in paragraph (1) and substituting the words “Civil Defence Financial Officer”; and

(b)

by deleting paragraph (4) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(4) All Fund accounts shall be balanced on a monthly basis.”.
