(COVID‑19 Access Restrictions and Clearance)
(Amendment No. 11) Regulations 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act 1976, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) (Amendment No. 11) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 14 June 2022.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  In regulation 2 of the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 Access Restrictions and Clearance) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 273/2021) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), delete paragraph (5).
Amendment of regulation 4
3.  In regulation 4(1) of the principal Regulations, delete “or a certificate under regulation 7 as having a 24‑hour clearance”.
Deletion of regulation 7
4.  Delete regulation 7 of the principal Regulations.
Amendment of regulation 9
5.  In regulation 9 of the principal Regulations —
(a)delete paragraphs (2A), (2B) and (2C); and
(b)in paragraph (3), replace “, (2), (2A) or (2B)” with “or (2)”.
Amendment of regulation 10
6.  In regulation 10 of the principal Regulations —
(a)in paragraph (1)(b), delete “or a cleared status and 24‑hour clearance (as the case may be)”;
(b)in paragraphs (1)(c) and (2)(b), delete “or entrant’s cleared status and 24‑hour clearance (as the case may be)”;
(c)in paragraphs (3), (4) and (5), delete “or a digital 24‑hour clearance certificate”;
(d)in paragraphs (3) and (4), delete “or entrant’s 24‑hour clearance”; and
(e)in paragraphs (4)(b) and (c) and (5), delete “or the digital 24‑hour clearance certificate” (wherever it appears).
Amendment of regulation 11
7.  In regulation 11(2)(a) of the principal Regulations —
(a)in sub‑paragraph (ii), insert “and” at the end; and
(b)delete sub‑paragraph (iv).
Amendment of regulation 12
8.  In regulation 12(1)(b) of the principal Regulations, delete “or entrant’s cleared status and 24‑hour clearance (as the case may be)”.
