Public Entertainments (Amendment No. 2)
Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(1) of the Public Entertainments Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Public Entertainments (Amendment No. 2) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1998.

Amendment of rule 6

2. Rule 6(g)(ii) of the Public Entertainments Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting “$5” and substituting “$7”.

Deletion and substitution of Second Schedule

3. The Second Schedule to the Public Entertainments Rules is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:

Fees are charged on a monthly basis or a daily rate as follows:
