Town Councils Act
(Chapter 329A)
Town Council of Tanjong Pagar (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Tanjong Pagar hereby makes the following By-laws:
Citation and commencement
1.  These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Tanjong Pagar (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2009 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2009.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Town Council of Tanjong Pagar (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws 2002 (G.N. No. S 266/2002) is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after item 5, the following items:
“
5A.  S1-room flat
 
$90
 
$81.
5B.  S2-room flat
 
$100.
 
 
”;
(b)by inserting, immediately after item 10, the following item:
“
10A.  S-commercial property
 
 
$3 per square metre of the area of the property subject to a minimum of $96.30.
”; and
(c)by deleting the words “items 1 to 5” in paragraphs (1) and (2) under the heading “Note” and substituting in each case the words “items 1 to 5A”.
