Town Council of Nee Soon
(Conservancy and Service Charges)
(Amendment) By-laws 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Nee Soon hereby makes the following By-laws:

Citation and commencement

1. These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Nee Soon (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2013 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2013.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Town Council of Nee Soon (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws 2013 (G.N. No. S 317/2013) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 3 of Part I, the following item:

“3A.	3-room Design-Build-and-Sell Scheme flat

$64.

$47.”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 4 of Part I, the following item:

“4A.	4-room Design-Build-and-Sell Scheme flat

$71.

$62.”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 5 of Part I, the following item:

“5A.	5-room Design-Build-and-Sell Scheme flat

$85.

$78.”;

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item 11 of Part I, the following item:

“11A.

Design-Build-and-Sell Scheme office, shoplet or kiosk

$2.65 per square metre of the area of the premises subject to a minimum of $85.60.”;

(e)

by inserting, immediately after item 13 of Part I, the following item:

“13A.

Design-Build-and-Sell Scheme premises for social communal use

30 cents per square metre of the area of the premises.”;

(f)

by deleting the words “items 1 to 5” in paragraphs (1) and (2) under the heading “Note” and substituting in each case the words “items 1 to 5A”; and

(g)

by inserting, immediately after the word “in” in the definition of “authorised occupier” in paragraph (3) under the heading “Note”, the words “section 2(1) of”.
