Residential Property (Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 (1) (b) and (c) of the Residential Property Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Residential Property (Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2005.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Residential Property (Fees) Rules (R 2) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item 1 and substituting the following item:

“

1. For examining and filing —

$185.

(a) a copy of a memorandum and articles of association of a Singapore company under section 10(2) of the Act;

(b) a list of partners of a limited liability partnership containing the particulars of their nationality and such other particulars as required by the Controller under section 10A(1) of the Act; or

”;

(b)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of item 3 (a)(vi);

(c)

by inserting, at the end of paragraph (b) of item 3, the word “; or”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(c)	by a foreign limited liability partnership”;

(d)

by deleting “$309” in item 5 and substituting “$300”;

(e)

by inserting, immediately after the words “a Singapore company” in item 7, the words “, a Singapore limited liability partnership”;

(f)

by inserting, immediately after the words “a converted foreign company” in item 7, the words “, a converted foreign limited liability partnership”;

(g)

by deleting “$442.90” in item 8 and substituting “$430”;

(h)

by inserting, immediately after the words “section 12(1)” in item 13, “, 12A (1)”;

(i)

by deleting “$515” in item 16 and substituting “$500”;

(j)

by deleting “1.03%” in item 17 (a) and substituting “1%”; and

(k)

by deleting “$515” in item 17 (b) and substituting “$500”.
