Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 40) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Wheel of Rewards” promotion to be held from 1 September 2017 to 15 October 2017 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the “Wheel of Rewards Kiosk Game” to be held as part of that promotion within the premises of the casino at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore during the following periods:

(i)	from 12.01 a.m. on 4 September 2017 to 8.30 p.m. on 10 September 2017;
(ii)	from 12.01 a.m. on 11 September 2017 to 8.30 p.m. on 17 September 2017;
(iii)	from 12.01 a.m. on 18 September 2017 to 8.30 p.m. on 24 September 2017;
(iv)	from 12.01 a.m. on 25 September 2017 to 8.30 p.m. on 1 October 2017;
(v)	from 12.01 a.m. on 2 October 2017 to 8.30 p.m. on 8 October 2017;
(vi)	from 12.01 a.m. on 9 October 2017 to 8.30 p.m. on 15 October 2017; and

(c)

the draws to be held as part of that promotion at the Casino Royale Bar^TM (Level B1) at Resorts World Sentosa Singapore at 9 p.m. every Sunday from 10 September 2017 to 15 October 2017 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
