Skills Development Levy (Amendment)
Regulations 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Skills Development Levy Act, the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency, with the approval of Mr Ong Ye Kung, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills), makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Skills Development Levy (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into operation on 3 October 2016.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Skills Development Levy Regulations (Rg 2) is amended by deleting the definition of “Agency” and substituting the following definition:

“ “Agency” means the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency established under section 3 of the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency Act 2016 (Act 24 of 2016) and includes any officer, employee or agent of the Agency authorised by the Agency in that behalf;”.
