(Commencement) Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Bretton Woods Agreements (Amendment) Act 2016, the Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies, Prime Minister’s Office, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who is charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Prime Minister as regards the Monetary Authority of Singapore, makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Bretton Woods Agreements (Amendment) Act 2016 (Commencement) Notification 2016.

2. The Bretton Woods Agreements (Amendment) Act 2016 comes into operation on 7 October 2016.
