Civil Defence (Amendment) Act (Transitional Provisions) Rules 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Civil Defence (Amendment) Act 2010, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Civil Defence (Amendment) Act (Transitional Provisions) Rules 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st February 2011.
Transitional provision
2.  Sections 16, 19, 75 and 84(2) of the Civil Defence Act (Cap. 42) shall not apply to or in relation to any service offence committed before 1st February 2011, and sections 16, 19, 75 and 84(2) of that Act as in force immediately before that date shall continue to apply to or in relation to such service offence.

Made this 1st day of February 2011.
