(Singapore Telecommunications Limited —
Exemption) Order 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Singapore Telecommunications Limited — Exemption) Order 2020 and is deemed to have come into operation on 13 June 2020.

Definitions

2. In this Order —

“draw” means the draw to be held as part of the promotion at 71 Tannery Lane #05‑01, Singapore 347807 at 6 p.m. on 29 June 2020;

“Livestream” means the livestream to be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on 27 June 2020 and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on 28 June 2020 through the livestream link;

“livestream link” means the website at https://www.pvpesports.gg/?page_id=2287;

“organiser” means Singapore Telecommunications Limited;

“promotion” means the promotion called “PVP Esports Showdown Donation Raffle” that is to be made available from 13 June 2020 to 28 June 2020 (both dates inclusive) on the Singtel Dash mobile application platform or on the website provided during the Livestream or at the PVP Showdown Landing Page;

“PVP Showdown Landing Page” means the website at https://www.pvpesports.gg/?page_id=4216.

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
