Public Entertainments and Meetings
(Amendment) Rules 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23(1) of the Public Entertainments and Meetings Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Amendment) Rules 2001 and shall come into operation on 16th October 2001.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Public Entertainments and Meetings Rules 2001 (G.N. No. S 100/2001) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$7” in items 1, 2 and 3 and Table A under the sub-heading Rate per day and substituting in each case “$10”; and
(b)	by deleting “$7” in Table B under the sub-heading Rate of fees per day and substituting “$10”.
