Remote Gambling
(Health Promotion Board — Exemption)
Order 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (Health Promotion Board — Exemption) Order 2019.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held as part of the promotion at 3 Second Hospital Avenue, Singapore 168937 at 10 a.m. on 7 August 2019;

“organiser” means the Health Promotion Board established by section 3 of the Health Promotion Board Act (Cap. 122B);

“promotion” means the promotion called “National Step Challenge^TM Season 4 — Step Back in Time Thematic Challenge” that is to be made available on 20 July 2019 and 21 July 2019 on the Healthy 365 mobile application platform maintained by the organiser;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act (Cap. 2).

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
