Interpretation
(Delegation of Powers —
Ministry of Law) (No. 2)
Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Law, with the approval of the President, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Law) (No. 2) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2011.

Delegation of powers

2. The Minister for Law hereby deputes the Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Law, to exercise the powers of the Minister under —

(a)	section 151A of the Copyright Act (Cap. 63);
(b)	sections 249, 252, 253, 255 and 256 of the Criminal Procedure Code 2010 (Act 15 of 2010);
(c)	section 26 of the Land Acquisition Act (Cap. 152);
(d)	section 4 of the Land Surveyors Act (Cap. 156); and
(e)	section 20(5) of the Pawnbrokers Act (Cap. 222).

Amendment of Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) (Consolidation) Notification

3. Item 1 in the Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Law) (Consolidation) Notification (N 10) is deleted.
