(Exemption) (No. 56)
Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 56) Notification 2016.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Paiza Big Draw Year End Celebration” promotion to be held from 21 October 2016 to 20 November 2016 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the draws to be held as part of that promotion at the Paiza Area, Casino Atrium 2 at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from 29 October 2016 to 20 November 2016 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
