Infectious Diseases
(Notification of Infectious Diseases)
(Amendment) Regulations 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Notification of Infectious Diseases) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 8 August 2014.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Part I of the Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Notification of Infectious Diseases) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 612/2008) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 6, the following item:

“6A.	Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 12, the following item:

“12A.

Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus Infection (MERS‑CoV) (formerly known as Novel Coronavirus Infection).”.
