and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2)
Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Singapore Tourism (Cess Collection) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 16th September 2011.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification (N 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Fairmont Singapore” in item (70) and substituting the words “Fairmont, Singapore”;
(b)	by deleting the words “Mandarin Oriental Singapore” in item (96) and substituting the words “Mandarin Oriental, Singapore”;
(c)	by deleting the words “St Regis Hotel Singapore” in item (115) and substituting the words “St. Regis Hotel Singapore”;
(d)	by deleting the words “Ibis Singapore On Bencoolen” in item (130) and substituting the words “Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen”; and
(e)	by deleting the words “Aqueen Hotel Lavender” in item (166) and substituting the words “Aqueen Hotel — Lavender”.
