Town Council of Pasir Ris (Common Property and Open Spaces) (Amendment) By-laws 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Pasir Ris hereby makes the following By-laws:

Citation and commencement

1. These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Pasir Ris (Common Property and Open Spaces) (Amendment) By-laws 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st November 1998.

Amendment of by-law 2

2. By-law 2 (1) of the Town Council of Pasir Ris (Common Property and Open Spaces) By-laws (By 38) is amended by inserting, immediately before the definition of “common property”, the following definition:

“ “bicycle” means a two-wheeled pedal cycle constructed or adapted for use as a means of conveyance;”.

Amendment of by-law 6

3. By-law 6 of the Town Council of Pasir Ris (Common Property and Open Spaces) By-laws is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “other than” in the second line of paragraph (b), the words “a bicycle,”.
