Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 44) Notification 2012.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Tiong Bahru Youth Executive Committee (referred to in this Notification as “the organiser”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Youth Care at Tiong Bahru — Mahjong Competition” to be held on 28th October 2012 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the multi‑purpose hall of Tiong Bahru Community Club.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
