(Restriction of Speed on Roads)
(Amendment) Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) (Amendment) Notification 2017 and comes into operation on 18 February 2017.

Amendment of Part 1 of Second Schedule

2. Part 1 of the Second Schedule to the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) Notification (N 6) (called in this Notification the principal Notification) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately above the item relating to “Andover Road”, the following item:

“Airport Boulevard Slip Road from Changi Airport Terminal 4 to East Coast Parkway.”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Sembawang Hills Drive”, the following items:

“Sentosa Gateway — that part of Sentosa Gateway between lamp post No. P16F and lamp post No. P14/2F, in the direction towards Sentosa Gateway Tunnel.

Sentosa Gateway Tunnel — that part of Sentosa Gateway Tunnel —

(a)	between lamp post No. P14/2F and lamp post No. P39/1F, in the direction towards Keppel Road; and

(b)	between lamp post No. P14/2F and lamp post No. P92/7F in the direction towards Lower Delta Road.”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Terminal Link West”, the following item:

“Toa Payoh North Flyover.”.

Amendment of Third Schedule

3. The Third Schedule to the principal Notification is amended —

(a)

by deleting the item relating to part of Sengkang East Way and substituting the following item:

“Sengkang East Way.”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Sengkang West Road”, the following item:

“Sengkang West Way.”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Tampines Street 31”, the following item:

“Tanah Merah Coast Road — that part of Tanah Merah Coast Road from lamp post No. 2F to lamp post No. 246.”.

Amendment of Fourth Schedule

4. The Fourth Schedule to the principal Notification is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1”, the following item:

“Aviation Park Road.”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to part of Bukit Timah Road, the following item:

“Buroh Flyover.”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to part of Tampines Road, the following item:

“Tanah Merah Coast Road — that part of Tanah Merah Coast Road from lamp post No. 246 to the junction with Aviation Park Road.”; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to part of Tuas South Avenue 9, the following item:

“Tuas Viaduct.”.
