Charities
(Composition of Offences) (Amendment)
Regulations 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Charities Act, Mr Chan Chun Sing, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Charities (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2012.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Charities (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 7) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the words “(Rg 8)” in paragraph (b), the words “in force before 1st November 2012”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “(Rg 2)” in paragraph (c), the words “in force before 1st November 2012”;

(c)

by deleting the word “; and” at the end of paragraph (e); and

(d)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (f) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(g)	an offence under the Charities (Fund-raising Appeals for Local and Foreign Charitable Purposes) Regulations 2012 (G.N. No. S 530/2012).”.
