Strategic Goods (Control)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 36 and 38 of the Strategic Goods (Control) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Strategic Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 1 October 2019.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2(1) of the Strategic Goods (Control) Regulations (Rg 1) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the definition of “SG Order” and substituting the following definition:

“ “SG Order” means the Strategic Goods (Control) Order 2019 (G.N. No. S 532/2019).”.

Amendment of regulation 13

3. Regulation 13(3) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “57 and 63” in sub‑paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting in each case the words “57, 63 and 65”.

Amendment of Fourth Schedule

4. Item 2 of the Fourth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting “1B229,” in paragraph (c); and
(b)	by inserting, immediately after “1B234” in paragraph (c), “, 1B235”.

Amendment of Fifth Schedule

5. Item 2 of the Fifth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting “1B229,” in paragraph (c); and
(b)	by inserting, immediately after “1B234” in paragraph (c), “, 1B235”.
