Regulation of Imports and Exports
(Amendment) Regulations 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Regulation of Imports and Exports (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 7 September 2015.

Amendment of Part C of First Schedule

2. Part C of the First Schedule to the Regulation of Imports and Exports Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items 2 and 3 and substituting the following items:

“2.	Helmets intended as protection in military combat

Commissioner of Police

3.	Toy or replica guns

Commissioner of Police”; and

(b)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of item 4, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“5.	Toy or replica explosives, grenades, ammunitions or improvised explosive devices (IED)

Commissioner of Police”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. The Second Schedule to the Regulation of Imports and Exports Regulations is amended by deleting items 1 and 2.
