Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 6) Order 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(16) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 6) Order 2006 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 21st August 2006.

Amendment of Consolidation Order

2. The Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) Order (O 32) is amended —

(a)

by deleting item (43) relating to Chiao Tung Bank Co Ltd.; and

(b)

by deleting the words “International Commercial Bank of China” in item (107) and substituting the words “Mega International Commercial Bank Co.”.
